"Do not search for the truth; only cease to cherish opinions"
Thanks to Ruchiraketu for a wonderful and lively class last week in which we explored among other things the Buddhas' Four Noble Truths [the fact that there is unsatisfactoriness and suffering in life, the fact that there is a cause for this suffering which is neurotic grasping, the fact that there is a way out of our (and the world's) suffering, and the Path that leads from suffering (the Noble Eightfold Path)].
I am really looking forward to this Thursdays class (6th March). As always newcomers and regulars - all - are most welcome! We will be reading (and reflecting on) together a short, beautiful and profound text called the Hsing Hsing Ming said to be written by a 6th century Zen Master (Seng Ts'an). Listening to wisdom teachings can be a way to tune into the first of the "steps"of the Noble Eightfold Path (Perfect Vision).
Finally a few bits of news re study and day retreat have just been added to the Classes and Courses/Calendar page - please do check it out HERE (may need to scroll to bottom of page)
