The team have been doing some planning for next year and details are on the main page. New for next year we want to run some introduction to Buddhism and meditation courses so do let anyone who might be interested know. We hope to run these in March / April.
All actions in our lives are acts of creativity - no matter how small or grand. In Buddhism culture knows no limits and is not bounded by conventional ideas of creativity. Everything we do is preceded by an act of imagination / creativity. Everyone gives shape to this in their own way: kindness, generosity, art, music, comedy, making a shrine, doing readings, writing, washing up, tea making and so on. What matters is the care with which we act and the clarity of our mental states.
We are always happy to receive ideas or offers of help / creativity as this is the essence of sangha (community) and making the teachings of the Buddha meaningful in the situation and times we live in. We really want everyone to contribute in whatever way they feel able.
Dates below include Yuletide day retreats, film night, winter gathering and a small sanghas' weekend retreat.
