Meditation Ruined My Life a one man show by comedian (and Mitra) Sam Brady
This award-winning one man show tells the story of how Sam renounced a conventional life of family, career and consumerism to pursue the ideal of Enlightenment, only to find his spiritual ambitions thwarted at every turn by his own foolishness.
Although the story uses terms such as "monk" and "temple" - which are not strictly accurate - the events of the story are true. It's a comedy, but is not without it's dark side - facing up to the absurdity of life but also to the tragedy of loss.
